The highlight of many a person's week, our Saturday Pub is an excuse to virtually congregate, drink, and be merry. It's a relaxed atmosphere with friends old and new and everyone is welcome to join.

Come rain or shine the evenings kicks off every Saturday from 8pm.

We are delighted to now be hosting monthly screenings on our Discord server, in the Events video room on the General Chat. They will take place on the relevant Saturday at 9pm.

Screenings will typically run for 60-90 minutes and we will discuss at the time our intended screening for the following month.

Expect full movies, episodes of popular (and not-so-popular!) shows, shorts and anything we can get our hands on. While much of it will be anime, we will also be showing rare beauties from the underworld as well as the downright bizarre (we're looking at you. Fist of the North Star live action).

Because we miss the pub so much, and getting our backsides handed to us by the team that knows the MC, we've decided to start up a monthly pub quiz on our Discord server.

The quizzes take place in the Events video room on the General Chat. They will take place on the relevant Saturday at 9pm.

Quizzes will typically run for 60-90 minutes and while they will often have a Japanese angle or indeed occasionally be heavy on the anime, there will also be plenty of rounds on nerd culture, weird things that have happened in the world, and general knowledge. We're constantly adding questions and rounds and we incorporate picture, video, and audio rounds to keep things spicy.
